Concepts that matter – Debating Democracy is an Honours Certificate open to students registered in an MA programme at the University of Belgrade, the University of Perugia, Paris Cité University, the University of Agder, or the University of Oslo.
The certificate is designed for MA students with a keen interest in contemporary political debates. Participants will be trained in conceptual analysis using corpus linguistic methods. Corpora can be used to collect and analyse large amounts of linguistic data, enabling researchers to offer critical insights into the negotiation of key concepts in a variety of social settings.
The certificate has a strong focus on student participation and interdisciplinary collaboration. Participants will learn from an international team of highly qualified researchers and take part in innovative student-driven activities. Digital tools will enable autonomous, flexible learning.
